These terms apply to salaheddine-elfatimi.com ("the site"), run by Salaheddine Elfatimi, freelance web developer in Marrakech, Morocco. By using the site, you accept them. Questions: job.elfatimi@gmail.com.
1. What the site is
The site presents my work as a web developer (websites, web and mobile apps, e-learning platforms, custom CRMs), my blog and my résumé, and lets you contact me about a project.
2. Information on the site
The articles and pages are written with care and based on real projects and official sources, but they're general information, not professional advice for your specific case. Technology changes quickly: check the linked official documentation before relying on a detail.
Anything discussed through the contact form or the chat, including an estimate, isn't a commitment until we both agree to it in writing.
3. Client projects
Each project is covered by its own written agreement (scope, price, schedule, ownership of the code). That agreement prevails over these terms.
4. Intellectual property
The site's texts, illustrations, videos and code belong to me unless stated otherwise. You may quote short passages with a link to the source. Code examples in blog posts can be reused freely in your own projects.
Screenshots, names and logos of client projects and third-party products belong to their owners and are shown to illustrate my work or the article.
5. The dashboard and third-party services
The site's dashboard is private and reserved for its owner. It uses third-party services (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google, Anthropic) under their own terms.
Its YouTube features use YouTube API Services: using them means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google processes the data under the Google Privacy Policy. How the site handles this data is explained in its privacy policy.
6. Links to other sites
The site links to other sites (official documentation, client projects, tools). I'm not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
7. Liability
The site is provided as it is. I do my best to keep it available and accurate, but I can't guarantee it's free of errors or interruptions, and I'm not liable for indirect damage resulting from its use.
8. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. In case of dispute, we'll first look for an amicable solution; failing that, the courts of Marrakech have jurisdiction.
9. Changes
These terms can change; the version in force is the one published on this page, with its date.
