A trilingual website that guides Moroccan nurses toward jobs in Germany
Explorem is a Marrakech agency that prepares Moroccan nurses for jobs in Germany. I designed and built its website, which speaks to two audiences, nurses and German employers, in English, Arabic and German, and lets candidates register with their CV in one short form.
Built as a freelance web developer and SEO for Explorem SARL (February to April 2024).
The client
Explorem SARL is a recruitment and training agency in Marrakech, founded in 2021. It covers the whole path from a nursing school in Morocco to a job in Germany: German and nursing courses, job placement, diploma recognition, visas and support after arrival. It works with two groups: the nurses it trains and places, and the German employers who hire them.
What they needed
That path has many steps, and two very different readers need to follow it. A nurse wants to know what happens between the first German lesson and the first week in Germany; an employer wants to know how candidates are chosen and prepared. Putting both on one page would serve neither.
The agency also needed a simple first step for candidates: register and send a CV, without a long form. And since those applications carry personal details, they had to stay behind sign-in.
What I built
Two audiences, two pages
The candidates page lists the services in the order a nurse goes through them: training, job placement, diploma recognition, then arrival (visa, bank account, health insurance, an apartment). The employers page covers candidate selection and qualification checks, follow-up of each candidate's language training, and visa support.
Registration in one short form
First name, last name, email, phone and a CV upload, on the candidates page, which the homepage's 'Register for candidates' button opens directly. The diploma review starts from that CV, so nothing else is asked up front.
English, Arabic and German
Each language has its own address (/en, /ar, /de) with the matching language tag. The menus and the candidate and employer pages are translated.
News and milestones
A blog for the agency's news, with the latest post on the homepage, and a 'What We Have Achieved' section listing its milestones, with links to German TV reports (ZDF, WDR).
Applications behind sign-in
Candidate data is stored in MongoDB through Prisma, and Auth.js handles sign-in, so applications aren't open to anyone who finds the address.
Performance and search
Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS and hosted on Vercel. Each page has its own title and description, and its text is in the HTML that search engines read.
What it lets them do
Candidate applications sit behind real authentication, so the agency handles sensitive records safely.
Today a nurse reads the steps that concern them, in English, Arabic or German, and registers with a CV in a few fields. A German employer has a page written for them. Applications and CVs sit behind sign-in, so the agency handles candidates' personal details safely.
